Happy Cinco-De-Mayo
Cinco de mayo (may the fifth) is a holiday that celebrates the Mexican army’s celebration over France in 1862 in the battle of Puebla. Cinco de mayo is not the Mexican independence day as it is often regarded to be. It is a day to celebrate the ability to stand up to forces.
In the United States, this day is interpreted as a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage and is celebrated with parades, parties, Mariachi music. Mexican folk dancing and traditional food.
